Legal Issues in Special Education provides teachers and school administrators with a clearly written, well-organized, and understandable guide from the perspective of the practitioner without formal legal training. Most of the texts in education law today present court cases that are heavily edited. Unfortunately, the editing usually occurs in the facts. Jacqueline Stefkovich is a Professor in the Department of Education Policy Studies at the Pennsylvania State University. Kevin P. Brady is a Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Arkansas. Traci N.W. Ballard is the Associate Director of the Professional Development & Leadership Academy at the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa. Lawrence Rossow is Associate Vice President and Professor of Education at the University of Houston - Victoria. He is also Professor Emeritus in the Department of Human Relations at the University of Oklahoma.
