Daan Van Golden: Dante E Leonardo

Inspired by the Florentine sidewalk artists decked out in period costume and mimicking Dante and Leonardo, lauded Dutch painter Daan van Golden, whose career honors stretch from Documenta 4in 1968 to the Venice Biennalein 1999 to the Heineken Prize for Art in 2004, captured them on video, stills from which are collected here.
