El tungsteno (Narrativa) (Spanish Edition)

El tungsteno is a novel of marked social pretension. The plot passes in the first decades of the twentieth century. The North American company Mining Society proprietary of the tungsten mines of Quivilca, decides to extract the mineral, before the imminent entrance of the United States in World War I. For this reason they hire pawns and employe natives of Colca (the capital of Quivilca). These and the director of the company settled in a spot near an indigenous community that used to live separately.

El tungsteno es una novela de marcada pretensión social. La trama transcurre en las primeras décadas del siglo XX. La empresa norteamericana Mining Society propietaria de las minas de tunsteno de Quivilca, decide extraer el mineral, ante la entrada inminente de los Estados Unidos en la Primera Guerra Mundial. Por esta razón se contratan peones y empleados indios de Colca (capital de Quivilca). Estos y los directivos de la empresa, se asientan en un paraje cercano a las cabañas de los soras, una comunidad indígena que se había vivido apartada.
