Av Monographs 220: Vector Architects

Vector Architects, founded by Gong Dong (Beijing, 1972) has become one of the key architectural offices in China. Their work is distinguished by its careful attention to context, a deep respect for landscape and the natural environment, the contemporary reinterpretation of Chinese building traditions, and the conscientious use of natural light as a project tool. With these ingredients the studio envisions and designs intimate and emotional spaces, as those that can be found in the sixteen projects, all of them in China, featured in this monograph.
