Around Town with Miss Rhonda Revised Edition

Around Town with Miss Rhonda is a book containing six chapters, each focusing on a long vowel sound. The chapters tell real life stories of Miss Rhonda's neighborhood from wild geese to beavers, plunky goats and a caterpillar. There is also a night the lights go out in a storm and a visit to a horse farm to meet a special pony. Each 12 page story ends with a page of focus words. This level two chapter book has been written for the child to read after SET ONE , SET TWO and On the Farm. There is much opportunity for the child to practice long vowel words in a supportive setting while reading some really fun stories.
