On The Farm

Miss Rhonda's newest book is about a real farm family and their dog Sugar. This chapter book contains six stories about Sugar who defends the chickens from a hungry fox and then has a bad experience with a skunk. The children plant a vegetable garden, play in the snow all day and help grandma make a quilt for a special reason. One story follows the farm from planting to harvesting. This level two book is designed to be read after the child is comfortable with SET ONE and SET TWO. This book contains words that are mostly phonetic with some sight words and long vowel sounds.
