The Template

“For nothing is hidden but it will be made clear, nothing secret but it will be known and brought to light.” (Luke 8:17) Deacon Michael Carrell follows the evangelist Luke’s directions and finds a hidden template that gives an understanding and purpose to every verse in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, and the Acts of the Apostles. The Template identifies daily Bible studies written in story form and provides a process for incorporating the good news into our lives. In The Template II, yet to be published, he identifies the template as the literary form of the parable—for the disciples would teach as Jesus taught.
