Rise, Desert Man

Another Miami lawyer is trying to crack the book biz as a novelist. Ron Strauss, 59, who has represented Murph the Surf, singer Kenny Rogers and former Miami Dolphin Eugene Mercury Morris, just finished his first book, Rise, Desert Man. Story line: two assassins, one working for the Israelis, and the other working for the Arabs, face off after terrorists attack an Israel-bound passenger jet at the Rome airport, killing dozens and kidnapping an American general.
