On a long 18-Day expedition/journey you can use these recipes during the third week. Or if you are a backpacker many of these recipes work well for hiking. The second in the Vegetarian series is subtitled, "Quick and Easy". All recipes in "Quick and Easy" are very simple to prepare and take less than 30 minutes to complete. The recipes are a combination of fresh produce, dried goods and a few canned ingredients. For a long trip the "Quick and Easy" recipes can be used the second week. The first cookbook in the Vegetarian series is subtitled, "Fresh and Healthy." It includes recipe ingredients that are primarily fresh produce. When you use "Fresh and Healthy" recipes on a long, extended trip, prepare all meals within the first week. The recipes in all of my "Camp Without Coolers" cookbooks are perfect for rafters, kayakers, canoeist, packrafters, horse packers, RVers, car campers, dorm life and sailors; in fact, perfect for all camping enthusiasts whatever your sport of choice might be.
