Milwaukee Road Steam in the West, Locomotive Photos from the Roy Campbell Collection, contains 121 selected photos from this extensive collection depicting steam locomotives on Milwaukee Road lines west of the Twin Cities. Most have never been published. Included are steam locomotives operating in locations better known for the Milwaukee's famous electric operations plus extensive coverage of N class mallets and articulateds, and locomotives of absorbed lines. Merrill Publishing Associates originally published this text as a photo CD, but in response to numerous requests has reformatted it into this book.
