This one of a kind set of two volumes is a series of short monographs on 3102 aroma chemicals and other materials that are used as raw materials by flavorists and perfumers. It is without doubt an encyclopedic treatment of aroma chemicals organized in a very practical way. Every flavor and fragrance creation group around the world must have the two volumes in their possession because the information contained therein is not readily accessible anywhere else. Each volume contains not only a pertinent aroma description of each material and its physical state (whether liquid or solid) but also its chemical structure, solubility information and one or more methods used to synthesize it.
