Soils Contaminated by Petroleum: Environmental and Public Health Effects

The contamination of soils by undesirable chemical compounds is becoming an increasingly important environmental issue. This volume contains the proceedings of a conference on the effects of petroleum-contaminated soils, held at the University of Massachusetts in October 1985. Contributors from research, engineering, industry and government discussed chemistry and modelling, public and environmental health and safety, engineering remedial action and regulatory and legal aspects.
