Process of Discovery: A Writer's Workshop

PROCESS OF DISCOVERY is a contemporary, brief guide to writing that treats students as writers. Designed for basic and freshman writing courses, this text focuses on the writing process and the importance of revision. It also encourages students to develop their own meaningful topics for writing, to discover their voices in writing, and to work in groups during all stages of the composing process. All writing concerns are treated within the context of studentsÆ work, as they affect students' topics, audiences, and purposes.
