<p>This book provides a 14 week season of a race pace program. It was based on one coach’s implementation of Brent Rushall’s system. USRPT is an acronym for Ultra Short Race Pace which is a system of training that emphasizes quality based programming over quantity. This book can be used by coaches new to high school swimming or wishing to see what a program looks like on a daily basis.It provides examples for the stroke technique strategies, teaching basic swimming skills, and developing meaningful pace work. It provides a detailed example of applying the program to a large number of participants.It provides 10 sessions of mental training transcripts.</p>
