The Passion Narratives Of The Gospels

Based on the Gospel of John, Fr Raymond looks at its formation, its major themes and especially John's particular notion of the Holy Spirit. Reference is also made to The Wisdom literature of the Old Testament. These talks were given in 1998 and have been described as the perfect companion and an 'update' to our Gospel of John Lectures given by Fr. Raymond in 1982. Some most enlightening post session questions and answers are also included. God's Presence in Jesus is in One without sin. Now Jesus sends the Spirit to dwell in everyone who believes and therefore God commits Himself in a much broader and much more difficult way ...in a lot of imperfect people.. He has not left us alone.

The Paraclete: Spirit's Gift To The Church

This conference, recorded in 1997, offers a wonderful overview of Biblical research over the last century with both its difficulties and possibilities. Each of the Gospel's are looked at and one full session is given to Paul's writings. Raymond feels Paul is an "endangered species" and the session on Paul certainly helps his restoration! Several most enlightening post session questions and answers are also included.
