Kathy "Cissy" Garver shares behind-the-scenes memories of her time as a teen idol on this iconic series. This was a time of many firsts. Family Affair was one of the first shows to air in full color from the start as reflected in the opening kaleidoscope. It was also one of the first shows to be licensed for merchandise and memorabilia. Most young girls at the time had to have their own Mrs. Beasley doll lovingly provided by Mattel. There were coloring books, color forms, and books and the Family Affair Scrapbook contains photographs of it all. These items, mostly belonging to Kathy Garver's personal collection will be featured in a museum retrospective.
