About Tugen, the first book in the Maddy Magoo's Animal Rescues series by Lois Chazen  A baby bird named Tugen is lost, alone and wandering the streets of the city until animal lovers find him a safe home at an animal rescue sanctuary. He quickly adopts Lulu, the hen, as his mother, and the discovery of life's lessons begins. Other animals Tugen meets include Darla and Fiona the sheep; Hugh, a majestic rooster; pot-bellied pigs named Buddy and Rosie; Shrek the donkey; and Pearl, a handicapped miniature horse. It is through these animals that Tugen is able to understand abandonment, instincts, self-identity, patience, uniqueness, agreements, assumptions, honor, respect, boundaries, love, gratitude, appreciation, and self-transformation. Inspired in part by The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz, Maddy Magoo's Animal Rescues:Tugen is written about actual animals residing at Goat Mountain Sanctuary near Asheville, North Carolina. Lois Chazen, a close friend of Bobbie Tyler, was given rights in 2012 (a year before Bobbie passed on) to transform the original spiral bound book, The Key into an aesthetically pleasing book for publication, and The Key: Truths of the Universe was created and published through her company, Turtle Dove Publications in 2016. Bobbie Tyler began to wake up between 3 am to 4 am, and on the seventh night she was asked, to, "Pick up a pencil, get paper, and write!" She received the messages from 1983-1986, and the original book, The Key, was copy-written (1987) and printed and distributed to her relations, but not professionally published--and as promised before she passed on, The Key: Truths of the Universe was created and is now being published throughout the world, as requested (message in the book) from the Divine. The messages are INCREDIBLY SIMPLE BUT POWERFUL: AN ABSOLUTE NECESSITY TO "THE KEY" OF LIFE! What makes The Key so remarkable is the way in which these concepts are presented. The chapters of the book act as a spiral: a concept is named, repeated, repeated again; another concept is added, repeated, repeated again. Over time, in this cyclical fashion, the luminosity and clarity of each concept is increasingly magnified, until the concept--and its underlying principles--becomes felt rather than "understood," and in this strange dance of words, the concepts themselves are woven together into a coherent unity--a Divine wisdom.
