Antonio Bellini is a Uruguayan professional who emigrates to the US. After many years of living there, he decides to go to Uruguay on vacation, together with his family. The trip has unforeseen consequences: he decides to stay in Uruguay and open a toilet paper factory. In some sort of a patriotic impulse, he names his product after Uruguay's national hero: Artigas. From that point on, all kinds of situations will arise that will make for a very choppy ride for his enterprise, at best. The tale has a very easy to follow flow and the work is definitely a page-turner. It is a humorous, yet well-intentioned look at Uruguay, its people and its way of life, from the perspective of those who have left the country looking for better opportunities.
