<p>The following images where taken over the last ten years. They were taken using a variety of cameras from 35mm and medium format to finally being dragged into the 21st century where digital has been used for the later work. All post processing, be it wet darkroom or digital, was completed by myself. The work consists of portraits, nudes and a few fashion styles. Some include professional models but they are mainly friends and partners. The majority of the work is monochrome.</p>

The Swedish church and state were meticulous record keepers and Sweden had little record loss compared to many other European countries. The gem of Sweden's great genealogical records is the husförhörslängder (Swedish household examination records), a sort of yearly census that can include just about any type of  information on your ancestor beyond merely birth, marriage and death information. Entries may provide you with information on property ownership, occupation, moving in and out, health, taxation, military obligations, characteristics and behavior and much more.
