This title is an illustrated presentation of two stories from the Holy Bible.  Floating Zoo is from the story of Noah's Ark, Genesis, Chapters 6-9, and the Whale Motel is from the story of Jonah and the Whale, Book of Jonah, Chapters 1-2.  Author and illustrator Danice Sweet originally developed these stories as songs which she performs with her musical group Revival.
