Mastering numbers also explores the 3 digit by 3 digit multiplications that with practice can be solved faster than using a calculator. Dividing any number by 2 digit or 3 digits uses the reverse process of Trachtenberg's multiplication system, where you only divide a number by the first digit of the divisor.
