<p>The 9/11 Project is a story of a group of "everyday heroes" - people who enlisted to serve in the War on Terror and their loved ones back home. It is a history of the first, incredible decade of the 21st century as seen through their eyes. My goal - my mission - in writing The 9/11 Project is to try to get the average American to care what soldiers and their families go through when they are deployed in times of war. Every September 11 that rolls around, year after year, phrases like "Never Forget" and "Never Again" are posted throughout the media. I'm hoping The 9/11 Project can be used as a reference point for discussion, understanding, and healing. This new, revised edition is meant to be easier to produce, especially for college and less formal theater groups. There is a musical soundtrack that will be out in 2017.
