You can find the true joy, peace, and contentment you were always intended to have bybecoming a Journeyman.\nWhat I pray you will discover: We have a spiritual identity that we do not readily understand and until we do, we cannot have a meaningful relationship with God. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are spiritually born again. We are a new creation filled with the spirit of God; the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 5:17). We now start a spiritual transformation where we recognize and no longer conform to the pattern of the world (Romans 12:2). We become aware of the spiritual attributes (tools) of this new life such as unconditional love, grace, truth, faith, and dying to self. We begin an apprenticeship process of allowing God, as our mentor, to shape and mold us more and more into the image of Christ. We cultivate a daily life of living in the Spirit where we develop spiritual skills. We ultimately grow in the spirit, and by living life in the spirit, we come to a place where we take on the mission of leading others to this same revelation and transformation.Honest, transparent, humble and loves Jesus… These are only some of the words I would use to describe Jim Sharp and they are the words I would use to describe The Journeyman. There are seasons of life and ministry that I have needed to be reminded of the simple things to help my faith sustain and grow. These are the things you will find in this book. So whether you are new to faith or have been around the block for a few years like me, there is treasure in the pages of The Journeyman.
