Original sources are both cited and reprinted-in translation and facsimile-with Austin's commentary demonstrating the efficacy of the work of distinguished master teachers from Manuel Garcia, through Lamperti, Shakespeare, Bassini, Stockhausen, Root, Klein, and many others.
