Another person requested five copies for the Canadian Parliament. One young woman said she was captivated and stayed up much of the night reading. A couple who read the manuscript before the book went to print used the information in the marriage chapter in family home evening to help their teenagers overcome misconceptions about homosexuality and same-sex marriage and to help them understand that it is not hateful to protect marriage. The book is not a profit-making venture for Sharon or her family. All of the proceeds go to benefit Family Watch International and the work to defend the family.
