<p>Dr. Jo's Natural Healing Cookbook developed out of the needs of my patients. How would we teach them to eat healthy recipes of delicious, colorful whole food? How could we help them develop a healthy lifestyle way of eating? We approached this educational process in a number of ways. Some did not work, like telling people what not to eat. They responded, "What's left to eat". Well, a lot of great healthy food but ones they did not commonly think of. So then we realized the best approach is to say, "Choose your meals from these healthy foods and you will automatically get rid of the dysfunctional (junk) food that's destroying your body." My patients responded with enthusiasm to this positive approach.Eventually the list of healthy foods developed into this cookbook.But it's more than a cookbook. It helps  develop a life style way of eating that serves your uniquely-you body well so you can heal or stay healthy. It's chock full of healthy recipes and so much more! In Dr. Jo's Natural Healing Cookbook I coach you through food selection, cleaning the food, storing it properly and preparing beautiful, delicious meals that your whole family will enjoy.Actually you develop a new way of thinking about food as you learn which foods actually nourish the body in a brilliant way and which ones cause inflammation that leads to the common degenerative diseases of our culture like heart disease, diabetes, cancer, yeast overgrowth, allergies and more. On top of that you learn to be creative in preparing your meals. It's really easy once you learn basic principles in Part 1. You will  quickly and easily put together a colorful array of vegetables, meat and non-gluten grains in your meals.Most people who enjoy the brilliant eating plan of Part 1 comment that the best side effect of this eating plan is weight loss. A few need a little more help with weight loss and that's where Part 2 comes in.And Part 3 - what we all love - recipes.</p>
