Turkish For Foreigners Vol: 2 Yabancilar Için Türkçe Cilt: 2This textbook with accompanying recorded materials applies in its methodolgy the general priciples of the audio-lingual approach as modified by an enlightened eclecticism to teaching the Turkish language to speakers of English. It has been developed primarily for the beginners level college students and has been successfully used at the University of Michigan, Bo?aziçi University and many other higher educational institutions in various countries since 1969. Considering the fact that many foreign students speak English as a second language, this book can be used in teaching Turkish to a larger audience. Hence the title Turkish for Foreigners. Bu ders kitabinda Türk dilinin ingilizce konusanlara ögretilmesi için kullanilan yöntem, kulak-dil aliskanligi yaklasiminin genel ilkelerine ek olarak diger yöntemlerden de bilinçle seçilmis uygun özellikleri içermektedir. Kitap, öncelikle, yüksek ögrenim gören baslangiç düzeyindeki ögrenciler için hazirlanmis olup 1969 yilindan bu yana Michigan Üniversitesi, Bogaziçi Üniversitesi ve çesitli ülkelerin birçok yüksek ögretim kurumunda basariyla kullanilmistir. Yabanci ögrencilerin pek çogunun ingilizceyi ikinci dil olarak konustugu göz önüne alinirsa, bu kitabin Türkçe ögretiminde daha genis bir kitleye yönelik oldugu söylenebilir. Aslinda Yabancilar için Türkçe adi da bu düsünceden kaynaklanmaktadir.
