Fernando Zobel: The Man Who Painted Ideas

'As part of a class project, Marco writes a report on the painter Fernando Zobel. He tries to understand the way Zobel painted-from the first drawings the artist sketched on books, cards, and even paper napkins, to his figurative and abstract prints and paintings. Marco learns that Zobel was a collector of artworks and Philippine artifacts, many of which he donated to museums so they would remain in the Philippines. Zobel also founded the Musco de Arte Abstracto in Cuenca, Spain, a symbol of his lifelong love of art.'
