Greek Sailing Ships: Museum of Galaxidi

One hundred and thirty six pictures of the sailing ships which were built in Galaxidi during the 19th century are reproduced in this unique publication. Greek and non-Greek painters have immortalised by their art the legendary Galaxidi Greek sailing ships. In addition to the illustrations of the vessels' equipment (nautical instruments, tools, woodcarvings), logbooks, prints, maps, charts, nautical books, insurance papers, etc., specially written articles give a more complete picture of the Galaxidi merchant marine.
