The Correspondence of Sargon II, Part III: Letters from Babylonia and the Eastern Provinces (State Archives of Assyria)

This volume completes the Assyrian language correspondence of Sargon II found at Nineveh and makes available a great number of previously unknown primary sources from his reign. This new material is especially significant in regard to Sargon's military campaigns and later years.
