Chinese And Japanese Porcelain For The Dutch Golden Age

Since 2002, four Dutch Museums have joined forces to combine their expertise in the field of Asian ceramics. In this book, which is the result of a collaborative research project, 13 authors each cast a spotlight on a different aspect of the Dutch love of porcelain in the 17th century. Using literary, visual, historical and archaeological evidence from around the world, they give a multi-faceted view of the Chinese and Japanese porcelain of the Dutch Golden Age.
