WHO Expert Commitee on Drug Dependence: Thirty-second Report (Technical Report Series)

This report presents the recommendations of the World Health Organization Expert Committee responsible for reviewing information on dependence-producing drugs, in order to assess the need for their international control. It contains a general discussion of new guidelines adopted in 2000 for the review of psychoactive substances, and their implications for the scheduling of ephedrine. It provides an evaluation of six substances, four of which were recommended for international control; and discusses eight others, five of which were recommended for review at a future meeting.
