Education for People and Planet: Creating Sustainable Futures for All explores the complex relationship between education and the new 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, covering six fundamental pillars – Planet, Prosperity, People, Peace, Place and Partnerships. This series of reports has assessed progress in education in some 200 countries and territories since 2002. Building on this experience, and with a new mandate to monitor education progress in the SDGs, the GEM Report will serve as a key global resource for the follow-up and review process over the next fifteen years.
