Affirmative Action in the Employment of Ethnic Minorities and Persons with Disabilities

Using the insights of eight national case studies, this book examines current trends in the implementation of affirmative action in employment for ethnic minorities and persons with disabilities. It analyzes how legislative enactment, general policy measures, and voluntary programs have been tailored to particular national circumstances, and describes the policy implications of the successes and pitfalls of the activities highlighted in the case studies.
