This text is intended as a guide through the various treaties in the field of criminal law. It presents a selection of the most important international and European instruments, including: the Europol Convention (1995); the anti-fraud convention of the European Union (1995); the Council of Europe's Draft Convention on crimes against the environment (1996); the Organization of American States' Convention against Corruption (1996); and the International Law Commission's Draft Code of Crimes against the Peace and Security of Mankind (1996).
