The Law and Practice of the International Court, 1920-1996
Description:
The 50th anniversary of the United Nations and the International Court of Justice, provided the author with the opportunity to re-examine what he has written about the Court. The work is now divided into three volumes together with an index volume. The first volume deals with the Court as one of the principle organs, and the principal judicial organ, of the United Nations. Volume two deals exclusively with jurisdiction and the treatment of jurisdictional matters by the Court, and volume three devotes itself to the court's procedure. Volume four, in addition to indexes, has the English text of the Charter of the United Nations, the Statute of the Court and the 1978 Rules of Court.
