Communicative Chinese

The book is specially compiled to help non-native speakers of Chinese communicate with Chinese people correctly and in a socially appropriate way. The conversations in the book are selected with a functional approach. They're the types of exchanges used in common everyday situations foreigners in China would often find themselves in. Typical examples are followed by explanations on how to use them in particular situations. In each situation, common alternatives are provided. For the reader's convenience, every example exchange is provided with pinyin transcripts. The entire Chinese text is accompanied by English translation.
