This book is Eileen Changs first full-length novel and was serialized on the monthly newspaper Crown from Feb. to July in 1967 with the topic Lost in Mind after revision by Eileen Chang, in July 1969 the Crown press published the separate edition of this book and renamed it as Half Life Fate. Perhaps love does not mean enthusiastic, nor to think of someone, it is just time and days which become a part of life after a long time.
