The Record of Teaching and Practising (Chinese Edition)

The Record of Teaching and Practising is the collection of sayings and letters about learning by Wang Shouren (traditionally named Master Yangming), which mainly reflects Wang's mentality theory and dialectical teaching method, having significant status in Chinese ancient philosophy. The book contains 3 volumes. The first volume expounds thoughts such as "the unity of knowing and doing", "Research of things needs sincerity", etc. compiled by Wang in person; the second contains his 8 letters which are his writings in twilight years; the third tells conscience, proposing thoughts such as integration of ontology and heart training, everyone can be a saint, etc. Because of its obscure language, the book adds notations and explanations to help readers better understand the text.
