David, a ten year old boy, is forced to flee from the city one terrible day in 1968. His father and grandfather carried him to the Jungle, a fantastic place totally different from what he has experienced before. There he meets Mariela, a girl his age, and Iguana, a strange magical reptile. But what he doesn't know is that he also needs to meet the terrible Mr. Centipede.
