Mikhail Chekhov (1891-1995), an outstanding Russian actor, teacher and director, significantly influenced theatrical art in the twentieth century. Since 1928 he lived abroad (Germany, Great Britain, USA). Many famous modern actors went through his unique school of acting. This book includes his the main work, The Actor's Road (Put' Aktera), and his letters to actor Viktor Gromov with his summaries of theatrical studies of Rudolph Steiner (1861-1925) and memoirs about Michael Chekhov by actress A.D.
