During interviews, Davis used to show his art with pride, taking a brush and a sheet and painting in front of the interviewer, getting inspired by the dialogues or what surrounded him.\nHe was considered as "The Emperor of Jazz" in Japan. This artwork book was titled as "An Emperor".
This book provides a variety of paintings, 85 paintings in all, including 66 unpublished paintings with explanatory captions in English and Japanese, 103 pages with the hardcover.
