Le Corbusier
Description:
Le Corbusier (Switzerland, 1887-1965) set up his studio in Paris in 1922, and designed houses that could be mass-produced to conform to a new machine aesthetic incorporating his trademark five points of architecture. During World War II, he started building the Unite d'habitation, houses which were a rejection of his earlier industrial forms.
