You Lead I'll Follow
Description:
I took the manuscript that I had written forty years ago and proceeded to throw it into a wastepaper basket. Cleaning the closet was a good thing. I had so many items that I had kept for so many years and now, being eighty years old, it really wasn’t a problem for me to do this. However, within minutes of depositing it into the trash, I felt compelled to retrieve it. I picked it up and began reading what I had written so many years before. I wondered where and how forty years could go by so quickly. I remember the feeling I had when I began writing this story about Ralph and me and how we became children of God. I also remember telling Ralph, “It’s finished! My book is done!’ He looked at me and said, “It will never be finished. The story of you and me will continue until God takes us home.”
