Mary Faith Hoeffner was a wife, mother, horsewoman, camp chef, businesswoman, and crack shot. With her husband and son, she owned and operated K Lazy Three Ranch Outfitters and Guides based in Lincoln, Montana, for over thirty years. Her adventures led her all over the Scapegoat and Bob Marshall Wildernesses and into the hearts and memories of everyone who knew her. From her childhood as a trick rider to her adult years raising a family and operating a business, Mary Faith never lost sight of what made her happy: riding a good horse in new country. Before her death in 2015, Mary Faith recorded many of her adventures, which have been transcribed and compiled in this book.
