Covered in Dust

Jesus’ simple invitation is always "follow me." Jewish tradition says when a rabbi invited a potential disciple to follow him, that disciple was called to follow the rabbi so closely that they got coated in the dust kicked up by the rabbi's feet. In following, they were to act like the rabbi, speak like the rabbi, feel like the rabbi and eventually be ready to invite others to follow. What was that like for Jesus? What is that like for us? Covered in Dust explores the life formation of the disciples as they followed Jesus learning to have the head, heart, hands and feet of the Savior. It is a call to us to closely follow the savior, learning how we can think like Jesus, feel like Jesus, reach others like Jesus and stand firm in the faith of Jesus.
