Soul-U-lar Evolution: A Mormon Woman's Transcendent Journey to Love

Raised as an active member of the Mormon church in a southern Utah town, author Angel Lyn describes the religious identity deconstruction that occurred in her late 30's when she discovered there was a warrant out for her husband's arrest. What initially seemed like an existential crisis became the catalyst for a phenomenal spiritual awakening, as the author calls it, a "Holy Shift!" Part one of this book is a memoir, depicting a very typical life of a Utah Mormon housewife and mother of 5 sons. As difficult circumstances within her marriage unravel, she begins to develop a new and deeply spiritual, rather than deeply religious, approach to life. This leads to questioning everything, every thought she has and every programmed and conditioned belief she carries from external voices of authority. What transpires is a myriad of remarkable events through conversations with the Divine that lead her away from practices and personas linked to fear, guilt, shame and judgment.
