Ruhani's Dream

Tamaira Kaur Batra is a 2nd grader at Delaine Eastin Elementary School and lives in the Bay area, California. She enjoys writing poems and stories. She is very fond of singing, dancing, and drawing. Tamaira practices Sikhism as a religion which teaches her to love and have compassion for all and to be an avid learner throughout her life.
Her love for nature and animals inspired her to write Ruhani’s Dream. Ruhani, the main character of the story, saves animals from danger and teaches that everyone should be treated equally.
