About the Author In 1962 Lee Lynch and Jack Carmichael founded Carmichael Lynch Advertising, which rose to become, according to the International Journal Graphis, one of the top ten most creative agencies in the world. Lee retired from CL in 2008 and immersed himself in other businesses and nonprofit activities. He was a key player in the renaissance of the historic Hennepin Avenue Theater District in downtown Minneapolis. A civic activist, Lee founded or co-founded four organizations and was chairman of the board for nine others, both for-profit and nonprofit. Lee lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Dr. Terry Saario.
