Description:

Victorious records the true story of a little girl's battle with an aggressive brain tumor through the personal lens of her mother's journal. Told primarily through direct journal entries, readers are ushered into the heart of a mother whose world is shattered overnight when her previously healthy ten-week-old daughter is diagnosed with a rare brain tumor. This diagnosis begins a twenty-one month battle for life. Yet in spite of the continual threat of darkness, the story is permeated with light, with love and even with joy. Readers are welcomed into a story of victory that ends in a paradoxical triumph.

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING ABOUT VICTORIOUS:

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow..." If you have ever been in this valley, or you are in the valley now, here is a book that will comfort, inspire, and encourage you. It describes the journey of two godly parents, and their precious daughter, whom God sovereignly and lovingly led into the valley of the shadow. As Tim & Katie's pastor, I was privileged to witness firsthand their devotion and love to Christ and heartened to see our God's comforting and sustaining grace to them in such a difficult providence. As with all journeys in the valley, theirs was bitter/sweet. Bitter in that it caused pain and heartache, sweet in that this pain was not wasted. I encourage you to read of their journey, that you might be reassured that through Christ, on the other side of the valley is true victory! - Glenn Dunn, Pastor of Cornerstone Bible Fellowship, Moderator and Board Member of the Fellowship of Independent Reformed Evangelicals, Executive Director of the Biblical Counseling Institute, Certified ACBC Counselor.

It has been said that "you will never find a bundle of affliction that does not have in it somewhere sufficient grace." Katie Piazza has boldly shared her "affliction" and masterfully directed us to the sufficient grace and amazing victory found in Christ! This book is an outstanding resource for all those who have experienced life's deepest pains. -Pastor Rick Dressler, Senior Pastor of Maple City Baptist Church in Chatham, Ontario.

Katie has written beautifully of a mother's love for her daughter and our Father's love and grace. As you read her story, you will cry with her, rejoice with her, and grow with her. I never met Colette, but through her mother's story I have come to know Colette and Katie and to know even more about the love and grace of our God. - Jeff Walton, executive director, American Association of Christian Schools.
